Hamilton Dentist – Cancellation and
Failure to Attend Policy

We take pride in our ability to service the needs of our patients.
A cancellation within 48 hours of appointment time, failure to attend or late arrival (by more than ten minutes) detrimentally affects the way we can attend to the needs of other patients

Due to high demand for our services and to care equally for our patients, we request patients to adhere to the following policies:

  • Where your appointment is cancelled within 48 hours of your scheduled time, you will be charged a $100 deposit against your next appointment. The amount is non-refundable and will be allocated to the charges you incur on your next visit.
  • If you cancel again within 48 hours of your new appointment time, the above deposit will be invoiced to your account as a cancellation fee.
  • We understand there are unforeseeable and unavoidable circumstances, such as medical emergencies. When you cancel, your reason for cancellation will be evaluated, and this policy will apply accordingly.

Arriving late at your appointment by more than ten minutes affects our ability to give adequate time to your treatment and to patients that follow. It will be the decision of the practitioner if you will be attended to or our Failure to Attend Policy will apply.

  • If you fail to show up for your appointment you will be required to pay a $100 fee.
  • We give you reminders and multiple opportunities to change and/or confirm appointments. It is your responsibility to inform us if you are unable to attend the appointment.
  • If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment time, the above Cancellation Policy will apply.

Hamilton Dentists reserve the right to request patients who continually cancel appointments at short notice, fail to attend and/or arrive late to search for another service provider, so as to allow our time to be utilised for a patient in need.

Due to the duration and preparation costs of Zoom In-Office Professional Teeth Whitening treatment, an advance of $200 is requested at the time of appointment confirmation against the treatment fee. The remaining outstanding fee will be charged on the day of treatment. Failure to attend or cancellation within 48 hours of the appointment will incur a loss of this sum.
